There's a new article online regarding the Robosapien RS Media. Except for the multimedia capabilities, the rest of the features sound like straight V2. They list a price of $799 AUD:

d**n it! why did they have to launch on a Tuesday? Monday would have made more sense to me (which is why I was at David Jones yesterday), I won't be able to buy one until Thursday now.

Oh well, at least I will have something to do over the weekend.

Hey Nocturnal, did you watch Rove tonight? He has a V2 on his desk and was playing with it, they either programed vioce clips into it or were playing clips from somewhere else but he was saying a whole heap of different stuff.
I wanna see if they have improved his walking?

I missed Rove. I suspect the walking will be identical to the V2, possibly worse.

I definatly won't be buying one at over $800nz not worth it, overpriced. That will be going to my new high end Games PC.

i wouldnt pay $800 usd(i dont know how much it will be in the us) you could buy a robo nova1 for $200 more!( i entered a contest to win robonova1!)

Roschler, according to the manual it can capture video.

according to current exchange rates, $800AUD is about $600USD.

Thanks Nocturnal.... A robonova is available at 900 new, but I'll probably hi up ebay and find it as low as 300 dollars.... I passed up the chance for a 300 dollar one yesterday*tears*

No, ask again when its closer to being available there.

Well I have one, at $749AUD. Photo's, initial thoughts and me just generally prattling on to follow (allow several hours for me to get the d**n thing out of the box)
